New Year's Eve

So, it's New Year's Eve. Jazz is doing a gig and Sprog is all tired out from a great party we went to tonight. For two hours, I sipped wine and chatted with folks while the sprog played like mad with the other kids in the front room of a gorgeous nappy valley house. I'm loving his newly found independence, returning to me only for wee wee breaks and juice!

Anyway, my New Year's Resolutions are as follows:

1) Write on my blogs. I've started a blog for my book - to keep me motivated and on track. I need to try to write in this blog every day if possible.

2) Eat more porridge - Special K is a lazy option!

3) Less wheat.

4) More protein.

5) Keep building the coaching practice! Do this through keep putting myself out there!

6) Don't stress

Meeting with Literary Agent

For a year now, I've had a book proposal gathering dust on my shelf. I did send it off to one literary agent but she wasn't interested although she wrote a very polite letter back. It's a self-help book - to help women who are trying to decide whether to have children or not which is the area I specialise in as a coach.

A friend of mine used to work in publishing and sent it off to a friend of hers who works for a big literary agency. They are interested! I'm so excited but now I have to find the time to write the damm thing!!

I was thinking of trying to use a blog to write it but I'm not sure if that would work so well? I need to set aside some time to write it.
